Vasu Baras

Govatsa Dwadashi, popularly known as Vasu Baras in Maharashtra, is observed in Kamdhenu Goshala marking the beginning of Diwali, by women with purity. This festival cows and calves are worshipped by bathing them, draping them in clothes, decorating them, and performing aarti for them. It is a thanksgiving program for them as they play a crucial role in human life equivalent to human mothers as they sacrifice their life for the human good

Pongal

Kamdhenu Goshala celebrates Pongal on the occasion of Makar sankranti. Pongal is celebrated to give thanks to Sun, Mother nature, and cows for helping us by contributing to a bountiful harvest. In this festival, cows are been bathed, their horns are polished, and decorated with a garland around their necks. To mark this festival, We prepare the Pongal dish and offer them to God and cattle, and then share it with worshippers. We feel pleased to see people taking part in this occasion with sacredness and devotion.

Independence Day

In the year of 2023, on the 15th of August, we commemorate Independence Day, honoring the triumph and sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters who restored our nation’s freedom. Our president hoists the national flag, while children and students participate in cultural performances. Through song, dance, and debates, we celebrate our heritage, fostering patriotism and strengthening our connection to our country’s rich history and enduring values.

Republic Day

We observe Republic day on the 26th of January every year on the premises of Kamdhenu Goshala. We celebrate this day by spreading the message of unity and harmony, making people understand the usefulness and importance of the constitution of our country. We hoist flags on the premises of our trust and people gather with great enthusiasm and make the program significantly.

Paddy Cultivation Training

As part of our dedication to agricultural infrastructure development, we’re taking vital steps to achieve our goals. Recently, our team organized a paddy farming training session where farmers received valuable education on modern farming techniques. Through such initiatives, we aim to empower farmers with knowledge and resources, fostering sustainable agricultural practices and contributing to the growth of rural communities.
